Penn National Gaming Wants To Build Two New Ohio Horse Tracks

Penn National Gaming (PNG) today will announce that it will invest $200M to build a throroughbred racing track on the grounds of a former Delphi Corp. automotive plant in Dayton, Ohio, "if the state allows it to install video game slots." PNG's plan would involve relocating its Beulah Park track near Columbus to Dayton. The company also is expected to announce plans to move Toledo's Raceway Park to Youngstown, "also contingent on video slots." It is "unclear when the new track would open" (DAYTON DAILY NEWS, 2/10).
