In Cincinnati, Steve Watkins noted the Bengals have "formed a partnership" with Altafiber, the company formerly known as Cincinnati Bell. Altafiber and its CBTS information technology unit will "engineer and build a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi network" at Paul Brown Stadium. The deal makes Altafiber the "exclusive Wi-Fi provider" to the Bengals and Paul Brown Stadium. The partnership also provides "significant exposure" for Altafiber as it "tries to make its name known in Greater Cincinnati." Altafiber gate signs will be featured at the "northwest entrance to Paul Brown Stadium," and there will be "signs inside the stadium promoting the company’s name." Altafiber also will "get exposure through the deal as a sponsor of Bengals-related TV, radio and digital content" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/24).

The initiative comes as Skittles parent company Mars Inc. will be "ending its partnership" with Busch and JGR after this season (ADAGE.com 3/23).
