SNY Going Back To "House Of Fans" Campaign To Promote "SportsNite" Program

SNY this week will revive its “House of Fans” marketing campaign for a third time, again using the group of faux super fan housemates to promote the RSN’s distinct N.Y. focus and coverage of all of the area’s pro teams on its “SportsNite” program. Developed in partnership with long-time agency Spork, N.Y., the new ads revisit a campaign previously used in ’14 and ’15, but with some updated elements. “Fuse” highlights the fan frenzy around the hairstyles of Mets Ps Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard, while “Trade” suggests a trade of one of the housemates for two Swedish exchange students and a blender. The ads, like their predecessors, will promote tune-in to “SportsNite,” and the network is exploring potential activations outside of the network itself. “The ‘House of Fans’ theme is still resonating with our fans and viewers, and really pushes our New York positioning,” said SNY President Steve Raab. "It helps communicate that you don’t have to be a Met fan to be interested in what we do. If you’re already a Met fan, you know about us and what we do. But there’s a greater opportunity out there.”
