Vox Media Promotes Bergeron To SB Nation Editor In Chief As Part Of Personnel Moves

Vox Media has promoted ELENA BERGERON to Editor-In-Chief of SB Nation. Bergeron, previously the Exec Editor of the flagship SBNation.com, will now also oversee all of Vox’ other sports brands, including its network of more than 300 team sites and five sites devoted to MMA and combat sports. She will also lead SB Nation’s video programming in collaboration with Vox Media Head of Video GAVIN PURCELL. Bergeron will be based in N.Y. and report to Vox Media Editorial Dir LOCKHART STEELE. KEVIN LOCKLAND, SB Nation VP/Editorial Operations for the past six years, will shift to a new role as the brand’s GM, where he will oversee business growth, partnerships, and market positioning. He will be based in DC and report to Vox Media Publisher MELISSA BELL.
