Bucks GM JOHN HAMMOND "will continue in his current position" through the '17-18 season after "receiving a one-year contract extension from team ownership on Thursday." A source "confirmed Hammond's extension" and said that the transition of Assistant GM JUSTIN ZANIK to the GM position is planned for '18. Hammond "would remain as a consultant with the team at that point" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/1).

EXECS: The Univ. of Minnesota named Syracuse Univ. Deputy AD/Administration JOHN CUNNINGHAM and SU Deputy AD & CFO RHONDA MCFARLAND to the same positions.
