Buyers & Sellers: Vikings' Adrian Peterson Lists Houston-Area Estate For $8.5M

Vikings RB ADRIAN PETERSON has put his Woodlands, Texas, estate "up for sale." The 10,000-square-foot mansion on 8.95 acres is listed for $8.5M. The home features six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms "and five half baths." The home also has a "movie room and a game room." The back yard includes a "pool, a poolside bar and an outdoor kitchen" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/24). 

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former MLBer ERIC CHAVEZ is asking $5.4M for his Paradise Valley, Ariz., home, which "comes with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a six-car garage and big circle driveway." The 10,500-square-foot home also features a "batting cage and horse arena with grandstand and riding rink" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 6/29)....Phillies 1B RYAN HOWARD's six-bedroom Philadelphia suburb home "has been sold" for $2.525M. The property "features a finished basement with a bar, wine cellar, gym, sauna and home theater, a three-car attached garage, a three-car detached garage and a pool and pool house" (NJ.com, 6/27)....49ers DT GLENN DORSEY has bought a home in Calabasas, Calif., for $2.7M. The Mediterranean-style home was built in '93 and a "four-car garage with carriage-style doors sits off the entrance." The 7,500-square-foot residence includes a "family room with a wet bar and an office/den with walls of built-ins." There are "three fireplaces across two floors" (LATIMES.com, 6/28)....Buccaneers QB JAMEIS WINSTON last week paid $1.195M for a "Mediterranean-style mansion on an acre fronting Lake Keystone" in Odessa, Fla. The 5,400-square-foot home "features 10-foot mahogany ceilings, a winding staircase, a music room and a formal dining room" (TAMPABAY.com, 6/27).
