Dodgers Lead MLB Attendance For Third Straight Season; Phillies See Ballpark Low

The Dodgers led all MLB clubs in average attendance for the third straight season, drawing 46,479 fans per game. That figure at Chavez Ravine is down slightly from last season. NL attendance was hampered some by the Phillies' sharp drop. The team averaged 23,475 fans per game at Citizens Bank Park, down 22% from '14 and marking the club's lowest figure since '02. The club drew fewer than 2 million fans for the first time since the ballpark opened in '04. The Braves slipped 14% at Turner Field, while the Rockies were down 5% and saw their lowest figure since '07. Meanwhile, the Mets led all NL clubs in gains, with attendance up 18% at Citi Field during the team's run to a division title. Despite Wrigley Field's bleachers being closed for a significant chunk of the season, the Cubs still saw attendance jump 12% this season. The Pirates also saw a PNC Park record with 30,847 fans per game. Listed below is attendance for NL clubs during the '15 season. See yesterday's issue for AL figures (THE DAILY).
