EA Sports today released its "FIFA 16" video game, and USWNT F Alex Morgan said it is a "really great honor" to appear on the cover of the game alongside Barcelona F Lionel Messi. Morgan is the first female player to appear on the cover, and she said it is "really cool EA is backing us with the FIFA game." The U.S. women's team is featured in the game, and Morgan noted the  “casual fan now is going to get to know us much better, they’re going to get to see more names and faces and we’re just going to be more recognizable” (“SportsCenter,” ESPN, 9/22).

SUN VOLT: In S.F., David Baker reports local solar leasing company Sunrun yesterday called on the MLB Giants to "dump Pacific Gas and Electric Co. as a sponsor" in the "latest salvo in a bitter fight between the solar industry and California utilities." Sunrun in a letter suggested the team drop its longtime sponsor because the utility company "misleads customers by advertising its commitment to renewable power while urging state regulators to impose a new monthly charge on homeowners who install solar arrays." The Giants "did not immediately respond to a request for comment" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 9/22).

WATCH IT FLY: Luxury watch brand Tag Heuer last night announced Marlins RF Giancarlo Stanton as its latest celebrity endorser. The announcement was made at the brand's Miami Design District boutique. Stanton joins tennis players Maria Sharapova and Kei Nishikori, NHL Rangers G Henriq Lundqvist and Real Madrid MF Cristiano Ronaldo as endorsers of the Swiss company (THE DAILY).
