Harris Poll: UConn Women's Basketball Remains Most Popular For Sixth Straight Year

UConn is the most-popular women’s college basketball program for the sixth straight year, while Tennessee remained No. 2 for the second straight season, according to results of a recent Harris Poll. UConn has led the poll each year since ’08, when Tennessee held the lead. Tennessee led the poll from ’04-08. Baylor remained in the No. 3 spot in ’14, with Duke and North Carolina rounding out the top five. Ohio State and Michigan State rejoined the top 10 this year, while Texas and Rutgers fell out of the top 10. Also see Thursday’s issue for favorite men’s teams (Harris Poll).
