Overnight Ratings: ABC's NBA Doubleheader Leads Non-Olympic Programming

Overnight ratings for weekend sports telecasts were dominated by NBC’'s coverage of the Sochi Games. Outside of Olympic coverage, ABC’'s NBA doubleheader had the best numbers over the weekend. Both the Knicks-Thunder game in yesterday's early window and Bulls-Lakers in the late afternoon window drew a 2.4 overnight. Both of those windows were down from last year, when there were more compelling matchups and no Olympic competition. CBS' Michigan State-Wisconsin broadcast led all college basketball games over the weekend, with yesterday's matchup earning a 1.4 overnight. NBC also earned a 1.0 overnight for the EPL Cardiff-Swansea match, which led into Saturday afternoon Olympic coverage.

Listed below are overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
