McDonough “will essentially serve” as the club’s GM. Freedman was with the team last offseason on an “externship” (THE DAILY)....The Coyotes promoted Business Development Account Exec/Ticket Sales MARSHALL SPALDING to Corporate Partnerships Manager. The team also named MIKE AKERS Corporate Partnerships Manager, and MATT CARNOT Corporate Partnerships Service Coordinator (THE DAILY)....The A’s named STEVE PASTORINO Senior Dir of Corporate Partnerships. Pastorino previously held roles with USA Team Handball, MLS Real Salt Lake, MLS Fire and the Single-A California League High Desert Mavericks (THE DAILY)....Kentucky-based streaming solutions firm Volar Video promoted Chief Sales & Marketing Officer DAVID BERTRAM to CEO. Prior to joining the company in '12, Bertram was IMG College VP. Volar Video clients include the Mountain West, Southland, Sun Belt and West Coast Conference (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).
