SAMPRAS' NET CHORD: INKS NEW ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH NORTEL

          Pete Sampras "continues to rake in the endorsement
     deals," according to Jim Kirk of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, who
     reports that CA-based Nortel Networks has signed Sampras to
     a new deal.  Sources said that Sampras is "expected to be
     the centerpiece of a major new print advertising campaign as
     part of the endorsement deal" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 11/15).
