AFTER A BLACK FRIDAY, TECH STOCKS HOPING FOR A REBOUND

          Trading resumes on Wall Street this morning after a few
     Internet sports sites closed "near new 52-week or all-time
     lows" on Friday, according to Jennifer Allen of BRIDGE NEWS.
     SportsLine closed Friday down 3 1/2 to 13 5/8, "just after
     setting a new low at 13 1/2 -- a price not seen for the
     company since October 1998."  At presstime today, SportsLine
     is up 1 3/16, up 8.7%, to 14 13/16.  Quokka Sports closed at
     6 3/8 on Friday, down 1 5/8, and this morning, it was down
     1/4 at presttime to 6 1/8.   Quokka has traded as high as 18
     3/4.  In other news, Fogdog "managed a higher close,"
     settling at 3 7/8, up 1/8 after falling to an all-time low
     on Thursday at 3 1/2.  Global Sports was down 1/2, to close
     at 8 1/8, up from its 52-week low of 7, which it hit last
     Wednesday (BRIDGE NEWS, 4/14). Today, Fogdog is down 7/16,
     to 3 7/16, while Global Sports is down 3/16 to 7 15/16.
