          In L.A., Larry Stewart reports that L.A. Times Exec
     Sports Editor RICK JAFFE will join Foxsports.com as its Exec
     Producer (L.A. TIMES, 3/17)....BYRON HUDTLOFF was named Dir
     of Corporate Marketing with Octagon's Athlete Representation
     Division.  He was Sales Dir for the Redskins (THE DAILY).
     ...Former NFL WR JOHN JEFFERSON was named Dir of Player
     Programs for the Redskins.  Jefferson joins the Redskins
     after serving for five years as Dir of Student-Athlete Life
     at the Univ. of KS (Redskins). ...JOHN BESANKO was promoted
     from Dir of Arena Administration to Assistant GM of George
     Mason Univ.'s Patriot Center in VA (GMU)....KEVIN CATTOOR
     will join Internet Broadcast Systems as Senior VP & GM of
     Sports.  Cattoor has served as VP & GM of Midwest Sports
     Channel since its '89 launch (IBS)....Airwalk Int'l named
     OLEG SHIKVERG as Dir of Marketing.  Shikverg, who will work
     with VP/Marketing LINDA NIELANDER, has worked for adidas and
     Morrow Snowboards, among others (Airwalk).
