          WNBA IN HOUSTON: In Houston, David Barron reports that
     Game Two of the Liberty-Comets WNBA Championship earned a
     15.6/32 local Nielsen rating in Houston, while Game Three
     pulled an 18.8/35.  The Comets' victory parade, televised
     live on four local channels, earned a combined 19.9 local
     rating Wednesday afternoon (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/10).   
          OPEN ON USA: USA Network's coverage of the U.S. Open on
     Wednesday night, which featured Serena Williams' win over
     Monica Seles and Andre Agassi's win over Nicolas Escude,
     drew a 2.8 rating (2.1 million HHs) (USA TODAY, 9/10).
          NOTE: Nielsen released that the total number of U.S. TV
     households has broken the 100 million mark for the first
     time.  Each national rating point now represents 1,008,000
     TV households.  For cable, "Cov. Area" = % of homes tuned in
     to that program in that network's universe of subscribers.
