SPORTSLINE GETTING MUCH HEALTHIER: INKS DEAL WITH WEB MD

          Atlanta-based health information Web site Web MD and
     SportsLine USA have agreed to a two-year "marketing and
     promotional agreement," effective at the beginning of
     September, which designates Web MD as the "exclusive sponsor
     and content provider" for CBS SportsLine's Health & Wellness
     area, according to an AD AGE report.  The content will
     include health and medical news, including "medical analysis
     of sports-related injuries" of pro and college athletes. 
     Under terms of the deal, SportsLine's Int'l Golf Outlet e-
     commerce store becomes the "exclusive golf merchant" of Web
     MD, whose subscribers will also be given "additional golf-
     related merchandise and benefits" (AD AGE, 8/20).  Web MD
     previously signed an agreement with Healtheon to merge to
     form Healtheon/Web MD (Web MD).
