THE POWERS THAT BE FOR NAYA: VT STAR SNOWBOARDER INKS DEAL

          Naya Canadian spring water has signed snowboarder Ross
     Powers to Team Naya '99, and "bottles of the water will
     carry his picture on their packaging beginning this summer,"
     according to SNOWBOARDING BUSINESS.  Red Wings C Sergei
     Fedorov, Sparks C Lisa Leslie and Dolphins LB Zach Thomas
     will also be featured on Naya bottles, with "their success
     stories of what makes them 'Hungry for Life' featured
     underneath the labels."  Naya will also have Bobby Boucher,
     the main character from the film "The Waterboy," on "an
     estimated" 50 million bottles from June-October.  A national
     consumer sweeps will be included on labels offering a trip
     to the NFL Pro Bowl and a chance to watch "The Waterboy"
     with Team Naya's NFL players (SNOWBOARDING BUSINESS, 7/12).
