BACK ON THE BAYOU: NBC, STATE FARM RE-UP CLASSIC DEALS

          State Farm Insurance has renewed its title sponsorship
     of the Bayou Classic, an annual football game between
     Grambling State Univ. and Southern Univ., for an additional
     three years, and NBC Sports has signed a new multi-year deal
     to continue broadcasting the event.  State Farm has been
     title sponsor of the game since '96, while NBC has aired it
     since '91.  Additionally, the universities signed the
     Atlanta-based Historically Black Collegiate Coalition, a
     division of Host Communications/Streetball Int'l, to develop
     and sell integrated corporate sponsorships packages of the
     Bayou Classic and its ancillary events (Bayou Classic).
