GAME, SET, MATCH IBM: WEB SITE SCORES RECORD VISITS

          The official French Open Web, produced by IBM and
     located at www.frenchopen.org, recorded over 10 million
     visits during the two-week tournament, nearly three times
     the total received by the site the year before.  Traffic for
     the site reached a peak of 32 million hits on June 4, the
     day of the men's semifinals, with a peak of 128,000 hits per
     minute during the Andre Agassi-Dominik Hrbaty match.  Also,
     site visitors sent over 12,000 "FanCards" to tournament
     players, with Agassi receiving the most, followed by Anna
     Kournikova, Steffi Graf and Martina Hingis (IBM).  For the
