PIRATES AND STEELERS BOTH EYE LAND DEVELOPMENT IN PITTSBURGH

          The Steelers and Pirates are negotiating options to buy
     key chunks of land near Three Rivers Stadium, a move that
     would allow team owners "to squeeze more revenue" from what
     would become one of the "hottest real estate markets" in
     Pittsburgh, according to Fitzpatrick & Shelly of the
     PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE.  Team officials "concede they have
     to pay fair market value" for the land, though it is not
     known what that price would be (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE,
     5/21). Also in Pittsburgh, Jeff Stacklin reports that the
     new Steelers stadium "will connect to" a riverside park
     dedicated to team Founder Art Rooney (TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 5/21).
