          TV MONITOR: Last night's "Fox Sports News Primetime"
     led with the Knicks-Hawks NBA playoffs Game One (Fox Sports
     South), while both ESPN's 11:00pm ET "SportsCenter" and
     CNN/SI's 11:00pm ET "Sports Tonight" led with the Yankees-
     Red Sox (THE DAILY)....The SportsBusiness Journal's Josh
     Gotthelf reports that ELTON BRAND has verbally committed to
     be represented by DAVID FALK (THE DAILY)....In N.Y., Neal
     Travis reports now that Heat President/coach PAT RILEY is
     "not a winner, demand is down" for his speaking appearances,
     and he "could be out by as much as" $1M a year (N.Y. POST,
     5/19).....The grand opening of REIGN, a restaurant
     conceptualized by Jets WR KEYSHAWN JOHNSON, restauranteur
     HERVE BARBAROUX and chef GERRY GARVIN, will be held tomorrow
     in L.A.  The restaurant will feature traditional southern
     cooking (Reign)....USA TODAY runs a four-page feature on the
     impact of technology on the future of sports (USA TODAY,
     5/19)....NHL VP/Special Events FRANK SUPOVITZ and Int'l
     Special Events Society President JOE JEFF GOLDBLATT have
     written a new book, "Dollars and Events: How to Succeed in
     the Special Events Business" (John Wiley & Sons).
