BRADLEY CENTER IN NEED OF RENOVATIONS FOR MORE BUCKS?

Bradley Center Board of Directors Chair James Forbes
said that the 18,000-seat arena "needs club seating and
other amenities to increase income," according to Hajewski &
Lank of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. Bradley Center
President David Skiles said that plans are also "in the
works" for an addition to the arena that would include
"retail venues, a sports theater, restaurant and event
facilities," making the Bradley Center "a destination for
more than just sports and entertainment events." Skiles
"declined to put a price tag" on the upgrades, and said,
"It's too early to give a number." Bradley Center execs
"made no direct request for public funding Monday," though
Skiles added that "anything is a possibility." The 11-year-
old facility is owned by the Bradley Center Sports &
Entertainment Corp., a non-profit group formed by the WI
     legislature (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 4/13).
