"FOX SPORTS NEWS" REPORTS OF POSSIBLE DRUG TEST TAMPERING

          On "Fox Sports News" last evening, Diana Nyad reported
     that "concrete evidence" of drug testing "cover ups is
     surfacing."  Nyad: "John Leonard, head of the U.S. Swim
     Coaches Association, told me yesterday in Ft. Lauderdale,
     Florida, that he has direct knowledge of positive doping
     samples just tossed in the garbage by IOC management." 
     Leonard told Nyad that at the European Championships a few
     years ago, "a scientist who had been in the testing room at
     the Asian Games the year before, took me out in the field,
     patted me down, wanted to make sure I wasn't wearing a wire,
     and told me about an administrator who had gotten the
     results of B samples, looked at the results of the first 6
     or 7 B samples that came up, and that the B samples were all
     positive, which means that those first 6 or 7 athletes had a
     positive doping test, took the rest of the samples, said,
     'That's enough,' and poured them down the drain.  This is an
