EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Petersen Publishing named MARK GOLDSMITH VP & Exec
     Publisher of the Sports Group, while GIB CHAPMAN has been
     promoted to Group Publisher of the Sports Group.  Goldsmith
     was previously VP & Group Publisher of General Media
     Communication's Automotive Group, which Petersen acquired
     (Petersen)....The Lions announced that VP & General Counsel
     DAVID POTTS has left the team to resume his private law
     practice (SportsTicker, 2/11)....Bills Dir of Media
     Relations SCOTT BERCHTOLD was promoted to VP/Communications. 
     Berchtold has been with the Bills since '89 (Bills).
