SUPER SHOW PREGAME: NEW FEATURES THIS YEAR; SA VENDOR AWARDS

          This weekend's Super Show in Atlanta is previewed by
     Sheila Poole of the ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, who reports that
     several features "have been added" to this year's event,
     including fashion shows and the Sports Nutrition & Health
     Show, a "vehicle for manufacturers and buyers of health -
     related" products.  SC-based Dunlop Maxfli Sports Corp. Dir
     of Marketing Peter Loveridge said that his company "places
     about" 5% of its orders for the year at the Super Show and
     added that as "much as" 30% of Dunlop's business can be tied
     to the show (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 2/12).
          HONOR SYSTEM: The Sports Authority lists its "Vendors
     of the Year 1998 Awards" in an ad in today's ATLANTA
     CONSTITUTION.  The winners: LOGISTICS -- Roller Derby;
     INNOVATION -- Head; NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH -- Reebok; SALES
     GROWTH -- adidas; OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE -- Nike; MARKETING
     PARTNERSHIP -- Mizuno; FOOTWEAR -- New Balance; APPAREL --
     Vital; and EQUIPMENT -- Taylor Made (THE DAILY).
