A (SPORTS CLOTHING) LINE OF COCA-COLA W/BRAND EXTENSION

          Coca-Cola is set to launch a range of fashion and
     sports clothing, called the Coca-Cola Wear label, in "the
     first significant extension of the Coke brand," according to
     John Willman of the FINANCIAL TIMES.  The company is
     "signing up" int'l partners and franchisees to manufacture
     and market the line, which will include jeans, sports
     clothing and casual items and sold in department stores and
     fashion outlets.  Coca-Cola said the line "will be designed
     to connect back with the brand" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 1/21).
