          DON KING will receive an honorary doctorate degree
     tomorrow from Shaw Univ. for his "humanitarian contributions
     to the poor and underprivileged" (Mult., 11/18).....Veteran
     boxing promoter CHRIS DUNDEE, who promoted the '64 CASSIUS
     CLAY-SONNY LISTON fight, died Monday at the age of 91 (N.Y.
     TIMES, 11/19)....DWIGHT MANLEY, the agent for DENNIS RODMAN,
     on Rodman's marriage to CARMEN ELECTRA: "If it made him
     happy to marry Miss Piggy, I'd be happy.  As long as he's
     protected ... My business position is to protect Dennis and
     his assets, not to dictate his social life" (N.Y. DAILY
     NEWS, 11/19). JAY LENO, on Rodman saying that "he can't
     wait" to have children with new wife: "Imagine that, huh? 
     An NBA player getting married and then having children. 
     That's Dennis -- what a rebel" ("Tonight Show," NBC,
     11/18)....Long Island HS basketball player NICOLE
     KACZMARKSKI announced that she will attend UCLA in the fall
     (NEWSDAY, 11/19)....MAGIC JOHNSON will receive $75,000 to
     sign 500 autographs at the Gibraltar Trade Center in MI on
     Saturday.  The "lowest fee" that will be charged for his
     signature is $135 (DETROIT NEWS, 11/19)....Veteran NBA ref
     TOMMY NUNEZ was profiled in the Portland OREGONIAN.  Nunez
     has coordinated the Tommy Nunez National Hispanic Basketball
     Classic, which has raised nearly $200,000 for college
     scholarships and funding for youth sports and academic
     causes since '80 (Portland OREGONIAN, 11/18)....Disney Chair
     MICHAEL EISNER told a group of Beverly Hills academics and
     managers that "many executives are ill-prepared for the
     reality of the inevitable economic downturn."  Eisner: "My
     gut tells me it can't last forever. ... Economic slumps are
     due for a big comeback" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 11/19).
