VISA EXTENDS SPONSORSHIP OF U.S. SKI AND SNOWBOARD TEAM

          Visa has become the first corporate partner of the U.S.
     Ski and Snowboard Team to extend its sponsorship through the
     2002 Salt Lake City Games.  Visa will remain the "Official
     Card of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team" through June 30,
     2003.  Visa will leverage via national TV/print media, ski
     industry retail promos, event sponsorship and team uniform
     signage.  The credit card company will help the team's
     fundraising efforts through the "Give the U.S. Ski Team a
     Lift" cardholder usage campaign.  As part of its deal, Visa
     will sponsor several U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association
     Events and receive presence marketing, Visa preference
     programs, advertising and hospitality (Visa).
