          Bulls F DENNIS RODMAN said he may retire from the NBA
     so that he can put all of his energy into acting.  Rodman:
     "I want to be able to stand up when I'm acting instead of
     crawling.  It's time to move on to another career" (N.Y.
     DAILY NEWS, 10/13)....A heavyweight unification fight
     between EVANDER HOLYFIELD and LENNOX LEWIS "is closer than
     ever," as Holyfield promoter DON KING "confirmed" that he
     and promoter PANOS ELIADES agreed to terms for a fight to be
     held in March and broadcast on TVKO, HBO Sports' PPV arm
     (N.Y. TIMES, 10/13)....Medical documents from MA General
     Hospital, set to be released today, say that MIKE TYSON "is
     OK to fight -- but he needs therapy" (USA TODAY, 10/13).
     ...MICHAEL JORDAN "has yet to step foot in his own Manhattan
     restaurant," and Richard Johnson of the N.Y. POST wrote that
     restaurant managers "sure wish he had."  One source: "It's
     pretty embarrassing.  Even the Planet Hollywood guys make an
     appearance or two" (N.Y. POST, 10/12)....MSG's MARV ALBERT
     will make a guest appearance as himself on ABC's "Spin City"
     (DAILY VARIETY, 10/13).  JEFF GORDON's "Spin City" cameo
     will air on November 17 (Winston-Salem JOURNAL, 10/12).
