EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          MARC PERMAN has joined the William Morris Agency's
     (WMA) N.Y. office and will work on WMA's athlete endorsement
     business which is led by RICK BRADLEY based in CA.  Perman
     comes from ICM where he put together a number of athlete
     endorsement deals.  He will continue to represent client
     CHARLES BARKLEY (WMA)....AD AGE and SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL
     report that NBC Sales President KEITH TURNER has combined
     news sales with sports and Olympic sales.  AD AGE reports
     that DUNCAN RYDER "has been hired from CBS to head Olympic
     sales," and takes the "broader post" of Senior VP/News,
     Sports & Olympics (AD AGE, 10/12)....Former CNN/SI
     Interactive Exec Producer DANNY GREENBERG was named VP/News
     America Digital Publishing's Fox Sports Online.  He will
     oversee the site's operation and Internet-related Fox Sports
     ventures (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 10/13)....RICHARD WEISS has
     left his position as Dir of Communications for the MLBPA and
     has been named the Dir of Communication/PR for the Mason
     Tenders District Council in N.Y. (THE DAILY).
