TEAM OWNERS: CABLEVISION AT THE MOVIES; ALLEN SAILS AWAY

          Cablevision will buy 31 Loews movie theaters in NYC,
     suburban NY and Chicago for $92M.  Cablevision recently
     acquired Clearview Cinemas for $160M, and the new addition
     gives Clearview a total of 65 theaters.  MSG President DAVE
     CHECKETTS will oversee Clearview.  Cablevision "expects to
     eventually sell" the 11 Chicago theaters (N.Y. POST, 8/28).
           ALL(EN) ABOARD: Seahawks/Trail Blazers Owner PAUL
     ALLEN has organized a weekend charter of the Crystal
     Harmony, which is "often rated the most luxurious cruise
     ship in the world," for a guest list "that includes family
     members, friend and VIPs."  Allen's four day cruise is
     expected to include "a variety of onshore excursions,
     including wildlife hikes, canoeing, panning for gold, river
     rafting and kayaking" (Patrick McMahon, USA TODAY, 8/28). 
     In other news, Allen, who co-founded Microsoft with BILL
     GATES, filed to sell one million common shares of the
     company for "an expected" $110.57M (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 8/27).
