EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Lightning announced the following staff additions
     and changes for the '98-99 season: DEBBIE CAGLE joins as Dir
     of Suite Sales & Service; Accounting Supervisor EDDIE
     DILBERTO was promoted to Dir of Finance; APRIL MELQUIST
     joins as Dir of Marketing; DAVID TAGLIARINO joins as Dir of
     Community Relations; JIM VAN STONE joins as Dir of Season
     Ticket Sales; and Ticket Office Manager STEPHANIE HANCHEY
     was promoted to Community Relations Coordinator (Lightning).
          OTHER EXECS: GolfWorld Magazine named RON SIRAK
     Managing Editor.  He had been the AP's Sports Editor and its
     golf writer (GOLFWEEK, 8/8 issue)....MSG promoted ERIC
     GELFAND to Dir of PR for the MSG Sports Group.  He had been
     PR Manager for MSG Sports.  In addition, JEFF GORLECHEN was
     promoted to PR Manager for MSG Sports.  Gorlechen had been
     PR Manager for the AFL CityHawks (MSG).
