FACILITY NOTES

Citizens Opposing the Stadium Tax (COST) held a rally
yesterday in downtown Denver opposing public financing of a
new Broncos facility. In Denver, Woody Paige writes that
the anti-stadium group's rally attracted little more than "a
halfdozen people." Paige: "[T]he bottom line is: Without a
new stadium, there will be no Denver Broncos and no downtown
celebrations" (DENVER POST, 5/13)...In AZ, Edythe Jensen
reports that Wayne Gretzky and his roller hockey company
"have their eye on the Valley," and have targeted Phoenix as
a site for the third Wayne Gretzky Roller Hockey Center
(ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 5/13)....Ericsson Stadium has brought its
food service in-house, and has hired Karen Smoots as Dir of
Stadium Food & Beverage Inc., which will handle all
concessions, catering and merchandise sales at Ericsson, as
well as game-day food service (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 5/13).
