EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The MLB Cardinals extended the contract of President
     MARK LAMPING through 2000.  He was named to his current post
     in '94 (Cardinals)....The Eagles named HAROLD CARMICHAEL as
     the team's new Dir of Player and Community Relations.  The
     move is designed to put a liaison between players and
     management and to instill some team discipline.  Eagles
     coach RAY RHODES: "We just want to tighten things up a
     little bit.  It's all about professionalism" (PHILADELPHIA
     DAILY NEWS, 4/29)....The Warriors named ROBERT SCHILLER as
     VP/Corporate Sales.  Schiller was with the Suns for seven
     years and spent the past year as a signage and corporate
     sales consultant to the Pacers' new Fieldhouse (Warriors).
     ...The Golf Channel's business reporter ADAM BARR is leaving
     the channel to enter the PR business (GOLFWEEK, 4/25 issue).
