          Jeff Gordon "is completing a deal" to start his own
     NASCAR Busch Series team, and in Orlando, Don Coble writes
     the plan "supposedly has the endorsement -- and sponsorship
     dollars -- from Pepsi" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 3/26)....George
     Foreman has agreed to do a national ad for NJ-based
     financial institution Beneficial Management Corp. of America
     (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 3/26)....G-III Apparel Group has signed a
     licensing agreement with Tommy Hilfiger to produce men's
     outerwear.  Terms were not disclosed, but Hilfiger said the
     clothes will hit stores in the fall (N.Y. POST, 3/26)....In
     Ottawa, Wayne Kondro reports that annual revenues for the
     Harlem Globetrotters "now top" $55M.  Team Owner Mannie
     Jackson says that corporate sponsorships "take a lot of
     pressure off ticket prices," and help keep the team "an
     affordable night out for families" (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 3/26).
     ...U.S. national women's soccer team members Carla Overbeck
     and Joy Fawcett will be featured along with their children
     in a 10-page layout in the summer edition of Fit Pregnancy
     magazine.  The issue, which features a sidebar on the '99
     FIFA Women's World Cup, hits newsstands April 7 (THE DAILY).
