MSA TO SELL MORE BONDS FOR RAVENS HOME; O'S FEAST ON DIGS

The MD Stadium Authority (MSA) is "preparing to sell
another" $4.6M in bonds to help finish the construction of
the Ravens new stadium, according to Jon Morgan of the
Baltimore SUN. Included in the new bond issue is a "plan of
financing revised to take into account" cost overruns at the
stadium, which was initially estimated at $200M, but is
"projected" to come in at $220M. The additional $20M was
raised by selling the stadium's naming rights to the Ravens
and by "convincing the team to accelerate payment of
contributions." The MSA financing plan also shows that the
Orioles are "running ahead" of revenue projections due to
high attendance and ticket price increases (SUN, 11/26).
