PHILADELPHIA STORIES: FLYERS' NEW DUDS; ALLEN HITS THE WALL

          The Flyers will debut their alternate jerseys when they
     host the Islanders November 28.  The alternate jersey will
     reflect the image of the team's away jersey with the body
     changing from orange to black.  In all, the Flyers will wear
     the third jersey 15 times during the season.  Five other
     clubs will introduce alternate jerseys in January (NHL).
          IVERSON HITS THE WALL: A Philadelphia mural promoting
     76er Allen Iverson's shoe from last season, "The Question,"
     has been painted over and will soon be replaced by a new 50-
     by-120-foot mural of Iverson.  The new mural will be up the
     day before Thanksgiving, when Iverson's new shoe, "The
     Answer," hits retail.  Until then, the space is covered with
     the new Reebok/Iverson logo "13," and the shoe release date
     of "11-26-97" (Edward Moran, PHILA. DAILY NEWS, 11/18).
