          Fox's MLB regional action on Saturday, starting at 4:05
     ET, earned a 4.3/12, the highest overnight ever for the
     network's Saturday regular season coverage (THE DAILY)
     ....After Fox's Yankees-Mariners game ran long on Saturday,
     Oakland's KTVU-Fox went to a split-screen to show the end of
     the MLB game and the 49ers-Broncos pregame simultaneously,
     with the NFL pregame show given a larger picture and sound
     (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 8/24)....In N.Y., Mary Huhn noted
     Wall Street Journal Interactive's new deal with Total
     Sports.  WSJ Interactive Managing Editor Rich Jaroslovsky
     "doesn't think WSJ Interactive will be directly competing
     with ESPN SportsZone and CBS SportsLine."  Jaroslovsky: "At
     least not yet.  We'll see how it evolves" (N.Y. POST, 8/24).
     ....Cablevision Systems will undergo a "reorganization,
     clearing the way for the spinoff or sale of its Rainbow
     cable programming company" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/25).
