          CO-based Schwinn Cycling & Fitness LP "is expected" to
     be bought by MI-based LBO firm Questor Partners Fund LP.  An
     announcement "could come as early as today" (WALL STREET
     JOURNAL, 8/13)....OR-based Deep E Co. plans to market a
     hiking shoe, called the Headwaters day-hiker, which is made
     of hemp and endorsed by actor Woody Harrelson.  The shoe
     will hit stores in October, and under Harrelson's first-ever
     endorsement deal, the actor will get "undisclosed royalties"
     from sales of the $80 shoe, with most of the proceeds going
     to environmental causes (DAILY VARIETY, 8/13)....In Denver,
     Paula Moore profiles Nike and the company's plans for
     possible expansion in the CO area under the header: "Nike
     Knows How To Flex Its Muscles."  Moore writes that the
     average annual salary at Nike's Beaverton, OR, headquarters
     is $43,000 (Denver BUSINESS JOURNAL, 8/11 issue)....Chris
     Evert and IMG announced that they have become co-owners of
     the FL-based Evert Tennis Academy (IMG).
