GENERATION TODAY: DENVER TO ANNOUNCE PEPSI CENTER AGREEMENT

          Denver Mayor Wellington Webb and Ascent Entertainment
     "are set to announce their" $160M Pepsi Center agreement
     today, according to Kevin Flynn of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS. 
     Specific figures "won't be released" until after a briefing
     session today, but Flynn reports the deal will be "slightly
     under" the $20M over 25 years Webb "originally said the city
     needed."  The deal guarantees "that the teams will play in
     Denver for 25 years" (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 8/12).
