SPORTSLINE RADIO LOOKS FOR SOMETHING EXTRA: TERRESTRIAL

          CBS SportsLine's all-sports Internet radio network,
     SportsLine Radio, has signed a deal with D.C.-based American
     View Inc. (AVI) to be broadcast on terrestrial radio.
     According to FL-based CBS SportsLine, it would be the first
     Internet station to be syndicated daily on terrestrial
     radio.  Under terms of the deal, AVI will be responsible for
     acquiring a minimum of 60 affiliate stations within 18
     months of the first air date, and will also be accountable
     for acquiring all advertisers and sponsors.  Beginning on
     September 1, a daily Internet sports talk show, commentaries
     from CBS SportsLine athletes and weekend football shows will
     be available for broadcast (CBS SportsLine).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
