NBA RATINGS: BULLS' TUNING OUT OF JAZZ MUSIC TO NBC'S EARS

          NBC's coverage of the Bulls-Jazz NBA Finals series
     finished as the second-highest-rated NBA championship series
     in history.  With a national rating of 18.5/35 share for
     Friday's Game Six, NBC's six-game average was a 16.8/30. 
     That number trails only the '93 Bulls-Suns Finals, which
     averaged a 17.9/33.  NBC estimates that Friday's game was
     watched by 56 million viewers, making it the third-most
     watched game of all time, only behind this year's Game Five
     (60 million) and Game Six in '93 (58 million) (NBC).
