          The L.A. TIMES reports this morning that PAUL ALLEN has
     reached an agreement to sell his 55% stake in Ticketmaster
     Corp. to Home Shopping Network Inc. (L.A. TIMES, 5/20)....A
     three-way merger between Indians Owner RICHARD JACOBS'
     Jacobs Group, New England Development and the O'Connor Group
     of New York would create the second-largest mall company in
     the U.S., controlling around 80 malls.  The company's
     headquarters would be in Newton, MA.  Jacobs would serve as
     company Chair and remain in Cleveland (BOSTON GLOBE,
     5/18)....HarperBusiness has published, "ICE TO THE ESKIMOS: 
     HOW TO MARKET A PRODUCT NOBODY WANTS," written by former
     Nets President & COO JON SPOELSTRA (HarperBusiness)....NJ-
     based WORLDWIDE ENTERTAINMENT & SPORTS GROUP announced the
     creation of Worldwide Football Management Inc., which will
     operate the agency's professional football operations
     (Worldwide Entertainment & Sports).
