     $250,000 to The Ripken Learning Center, an adult literacy
     program they helped found in Baltimore in '88, when they
     made an initial grant of $250,000 (WASHINGTON POST, 4/28).
     ...Cowboys Cheerleader Dir KELLI FINGLASS, on prospective
     cheerleaders required to pass a test of general knowledge of
     the team: "Cowboy cheerleaders get a lot of microphones and
     cameras thrown in their face at times that are unexpected. 
     It counts just as much as their dance ability, their
     appearance, their pose, their ability to do high kicks"
     ("Extra," 4/25)....DAVID LETTERMAN: "Maybe you have to be a
     little bit worried about Indiana. ... I mean, look at it
     this way.  The three biggest celebrities from Indiana: Me,
