RAIDERS TO RETURN TO THE BARGAINING TABLE ON TICKET POLICY

The Raiders have agreed to return to the bargaining
table and renegotiate their "controversial" ticket-sales
program, according to Sandy Kleffman of the SAN JOSE MERCURY
NEWS. Oakland City Councilmember Ignacio De La Fuente said
Raiders Managing General Partner Al Davis has agreed to
begin talks in early May, and for the first time, elected
officials "will be at the table." De La Fuente said items
to be discussed include "revamping" the PSL program and
restructuring the marketing effort. Plans are being made to
hire a professional negotiator to represent the city and
Alameda County, but De La Fuente and Supervisor Mary King
will also be present. Raiders officials could not be
reached for comment (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 4/28).
