STADIUM NOTES

          Starting April 1, CoreStates Center will only allow
     smoking at specified exits, and patrons will be allowed to
     return when they are finished (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS,
     2/28)....Paul Allen sees a new Seahawks' stadium "as a
     potential site for a Major League Soccer franchise,"
     according to Football Northwest VP Bert Kolde, who added
     that Allen "might consider acquiring an MLS franchise" if a
     new stadium is built (SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER, 2/27).
     ...The Bears will moved into a new $23M practice facility
     next week.  The 98,000-square-foot building is more than
     three times bigger than their current location, next to Lake
     Forest College (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 2/28).
