ATLANTA CONSTITUTION & ISES TEAM TO SELL SPONSORSHIPS

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has teamed with
     Atlanta-based International Sports and Entertainment
Strategies [ISES] to help sell event sponsorships, according
to Langdon Brockinton of INSIDE MEDIA. ISES will seek
sponsors for Stone Mountain, GA's U.S. Women's Hardcourt
Tennis Championships in August. ISES has enlisted the
Journal-Constitution as a media partner, with the newspaper
pitching tournament-related sponsorship packages to its top
     advertisers, "particularly" local retailers, including
department stores and automotive dealer associations. ISES
is operating and promoting the event on behalf of the USTA,
and is also offering deals for title and presenting
sponsorship. The packages are priced at $650,000 and
$250,000, respectively, and include TV spots on the cable
and broadcast coverage of the event; onsite advertising and
promotion; on-court signage; and ad space in the Journal and
Constitution at "favorable rates." ISES is also pursuing a
cable TV deal for the tournament (INSIDE MEDIA, 1/29).
