GINSANA EXTENDS PIPPEN RELATIONSHIP TO INCLUDE TV ELEMENT

          CT-based Pharmaton Natural Health Products and its
     Ginsana dietary supplement brand have "engineered a
     different way to capitalize on the popularity" of the Bulls,
     according to Scott Hume in ADWEEK.  Pharmaton's ad agency,
     NJ-based The Sawtooth Group, has a deal with SportsChannel
     Chicago, where the Ginsana logo will appear in the upper
     left-hand corner throughout broadcasts of all SportsChannel
     Bulls games in '97, through the second round of the
     playoffs.  Sawtooth VP Steve Berger says the deal is an
     extension of Scottie Pippen's endorsement deal with Ginsana.

     The logo is only seen in Chicago, and in the visiting teams
     markets.  Berger said that the "added value" to Ginsana is
     that the product logo will be seen in all Bulls highlight
     clips.  Berger: "Who doesn't show at least one highlight
     from that night's Bulls game?  If it were the Sacramento
     Kings, we would not have done it" (ADWEEK, 1/13 issue).
