NHL AT WILL CALL: TEAM TICKET PRICES AND SEASON- TICKET BASE

     Today, THE DAILY looks at the average gross ticket prices
and approximate season-ticket bases for NHL teams. NOTES: (^)
indicates a ticket price increase from '95-96.  Ottawa has
reduced prices for its first full-season at the Corel Centre.
Montreal is playing its first full-season at the Molson Centre.
Buffalo, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay have new arenas.  Phoenix is
in its first season at America West Arena.  Florida would not
disclose its season-ticket base, but Dir of Ticket/Game Day
Operations Steve Dangerfield said season-ticket sales have
increased 40% from '95-96.  Where the range of ticket prices is
given, teams would not reveal average ticket prices (THE DAILY).
