MLS NOTES: ATTENDANCE CONCERNS IN TAMPA, KC AND DENVER?

"lagging attendance" in those markets. Logan: "You have to have
a certain degree of patience and staying power. We're just going
to try new and different things in all three of those markets to
see whether we can get attendance to come up" (ORLANDO SENTINEL,
7/18)....The on and off-the-field success of the L.A. Galaxy is
profiled by Steve Davis of the DALLAS MORNING NEWS (DALLAS
MORNING NEWS, 7/17)....USISL Commissioner Francisco Marcos will
head the new "A-League," the merged APSL and the USISL, for the
new Division II league behind MLS. It will begin play next
season (Minneapolis STAR-TRIBUNE, 7/17).
